BEnefits with EC Boston:

Since 1992, managers from a variety of industries throughout Metro Boston have chosen EC Boston (formerly known as The Olin Center) to train their staff because of our customized approach and cost effective results.  Why?

Our Instructors
We have highly qualified teachers!

We offer the highest quality of English instruction through a team of native English-speaking instructors. Our teachers have business experience and Masters Degrees along with cross-cultural understanding gained from living and working in the U.S and abroad.

EC Boston has rigorous academic standards, is accredited by ACCET and is a member of the American Association of Intensive English Programs.

Our Classes
We adapt to your needs!

Our instructors lead custom-made lessons tailored to the level and intensity your staff needs. Classes produce dynamic and meaningful learning through situation role plays, paraphrasing practice, peer presentations, use of real materials and equipment in the authentic workplace environment. Course materials and texts are designed to incorporate cultural knowledge with the most current information, terminology and business practices in your industry.

Our Results
You can?t track what you don?t measure!

We monitor the quality and success of our courses through regular assessment and continuous student evaluations. You will see the results of the classes in action and through assessments that will be submitted to the administration upon request.

Our Service
EC Boston staff have a welcoming and professional approach!

We provide a free consultation to determine your unique workplace needs. During this time of initial assessment, EC Boston's staff of business professionals and ESL instructors work closely with your representatives to determine the company?s training goals and long-term employee skill objectives. We meet with the employees to complete self-assessments and with management to determine and prioritize their goals. The results of these initial analyses are used to design the most appropriate course.

In addition to courses offered at the location of your choice, your staff can join our free weekly Reading Clubs and Pronunciation Clinics at our Boylston Street site. This is an added opportunity to meet and interact with members of our diverse student body in an educational setting.

Your staff members are also welcome to join our group outings to local museums, restaurants, pubs and parks that are arranged weekly through EC Boston. These allow English language learners to interact socially with our students and practice their English skills in relaxed cultural settings.

High Standards!

AAIEP (American Association of Intensive English Programs)

Through its support for ethical and professional standards for intensive English programs, AAIEP promotes the well-being and educational success of its English language students.  Through membership in AAIEP, EC Boston stays current with industry standards and ESL student concerns.

Quality Programs!

ACCET (Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training)

ACCET provides institutional accreditation for organizations whose primary function is for educational purposes and also for organizations offering continuing education as a clearly identified institutional objective within the operational entity, such as in-service corporate training.
